This blog didn't have an early preview of the game that was given to the bigger websites. This means they have only played it since release yesterday but the servers haven't been able to give proper matchmaking or club races so I'm just wondering if that was enough time to test it? The problem with games journalism and websites and why they don't properly report on the more controversial big stories is that their core source of revenue is from games publisher and console manufacturer advertising. This means that's when a controversial subject comes up their priority is to not lose advertising and will briefly cover it or not cover it at all.
Also, coverage should never be paid but if it is it should be clearly labelle...
It's six weeks from release and the game normally goes gold at four weeks. This means resolution improvements would have to be made in the next two weeks to be on-disc.
This bad move for graphical parity is bad PR for Ubisoft because it makes gamers distrust them. If there is an improved resolution on disc then it makes you wonder why they said 900p and were able to improve res in two weeks.

It looks really clever but it's designed for tablet and considering Kinect is under utilised, Microsoft is unlikely to try and make a new peripheral control device for XBO.
Jeremy Conrad you seem to not understand at this deal did not happen because Ubisoft wanted to be diplomatic, it's happening because Microsoft has a sponsored partnership with them for this game.

I cancelled my Amazon order and when it asked for a reason I wrote 'the resolution has been deliberately gimped because Microsoft paid Ubisoft to reduce the quality of the version on another manufacturer's system.
If this bothers you cancel all your Ubisoft pre-orders.
